And then we depart to meet again

I am sitting in the bus and through the window I can see these open spaces,
We are amidst a crowd comprising of confused but innocent faces.
There are strangers in the bus striking interesting conversation,
The endeavor of getting a seat is full of confrontations.
The trust we bestow on the driver signifies his dependability
Keeping our bag on a strangers lap restates our reliability
The events that come our way during our journey arises curiosity
The act of buying a ticket for an elderly person shows our generosity
And then we depart to meet again
Been a part of this journey has been such a gain

  1. a good poem... very few people think in this direction... strangers are no strangers there... during journeies... specially local crowded buses and trains.. nice feelings... nicely captured through the lenses of words !
